СOMPOSITION

1 tablet (0.3 g) contains active substances: thiotriazolin – 0,1 g

DESCRIPTION. Tablets of white color with little darkish inclusions.

PHARMACOLOGICAL  CHARACTERISTICS. The active  substance  of  the  drug  thiotriazolin  has  expressed membranostabilizing,  antioxidant,  reparative  and  immunomodulatory activity, also reveals some antiischemic action. The mechanism of action of thiotriazoline provides ability to enhance compensatory activation of anaerobic glycolysis  and  activate  the  oxidation  processes  in  the Krebs cycle without changing of intracellular ATP fund. The substance activates the antioxidant system and inhibits lipid oxidation processes in ischemic areas of the myocardium, reduces the sensitivity of the myocardium to catecholamines, prevents progressive inhibition of the contractile function of the heart, stabilizes and reduces zones  of  necrosis  and  myocardial  ischemia.  In  addition, thiotriazolin normalizes metabolic processes in the myocardium, helps to normalize heart rate and improves rheological properties of blood due to activation of the fibrinolytic system.

The  drug  has  pronounced  hepatoprotective  properties, prevents  the  destruction  of  hepatocytes  and  stimulates their regeneration, reduces the spread of necrosis and fatty infiltration of the liver; normalizes protein, carbohydrate, lipid and pigment exchanges; accelerates the synthesis and secretion of bile, normalize its chemical composition.

APPLICATION.The drug is used to prevent and treat dogs and cats liver diseases (hepatitis of various etiologies), cholecystitis; in the complex treatment of heart pathologies (myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease); metabolic disturbances; postoperative complications.

DOSAGE.The drug is used orally at doses givenin the table. Duration of drug application – 14 days; in a postoperative period – 20 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS.Do not apply to animals with renal insufficiency.

PRECAUTIONS.The product can be used in conjunction  with  agents  in  traditional  methods  of  treatment  of hepatitis; application can be combined with basic agents of therapy for coronary heart disease.

STORAGE.Store in a dry, dark place at temperature not more than 25°C.

Expiration date of the drug – 3 yearsfrom manufacturing date.
