Description

1 tablet (0.8 g) contains (mg):

fenbendazol – 150;

Pyrantel embonate – 144;

praziquantel – 50;

additional substances: – 0.8 g.

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS. The drug has a broad spectrum of anthelmintic action at all stages of development of round and tape worms, including: Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma cani­num, Trichuris vulpis, Echinococcus granulosus, Di­pylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Multiceps multiceps, Mesocestoides spp., Echinococcus multilocularis. The mechanism of action of the drug is based on the inhibition of enzymes, membrane damage and muscle tissue of parasite that leads to disruption of neuromuscular innervation, paralysis and death of worms. The product has low toxicity to warm-blooded animals.

APPLICATION. Treatment and prevention of nemato­dosis (toxocarosis, toxascarosis, uncinariosis, ankylo­stomiasis, trichocephalosis) and distomiasis (teniasis, echinococcosis, dipylidiosis) of dogs and cats.

DOSAGE. Tablets are administered orally once as  whole  or  mixed  with feed:

puppies, small breeds of dogs and cats – 2-4 tab­lets per 0.5 kg of body weight;

medium dogs breeds – 1 tablet per 5-10 kg of body weight;

large dogs – 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight.

Should not be used with milk.

Dehelmintization of puppies and kittens is recom­mended once in age of  3 to 12 weeks with interval of 3 weeks, and then repeat treatment every subsequent 3 months.

PRECAUTIONS. For several hours after the drug us­age diarrhea, skin  eruptions, sometimes fever may occur. This is not a direct reaction to the drug, but  to proteins of worms that died during treatment. The drug may cause drowsiness.

CONTRAINDICATIONS. Not allow to use  for treatment of  ocular cysticercosis and spinal neurocysticercosis; liver dis­eases. To avoid cumulative effect, not recommended to  use simultaneously with piperazine and other anthelmintic drugs.

STORAGE. In a dry, dark place in intact, tightly sealed original packaging at the temperature up to 25°C.

Shelf life – 3 years from the date of manu­facture.
