Zinc ointment for the treatment of burns and wounds (100 g)

Description : It is a homogeneous, thick mass, white or light yellow.

Composition : 100 g of the drug contains: zinc oxide - 10 g

Pharmacological action : Anti-inflammatory agent, has a drying, adsorbent, astringent and antiseptic effect. When applied to the affected surface, it forms albuminates and denatures proteins, reduces the phenomena of exudation, inflammation and tissue irritation, and forms a protective barrier against irritating factors.

Application : Superficial wounds, burns, dermatitis, ulcerative skin lesions, bedsores, acute eczema, trophic ulcers.

Dosage : Apply externally. Apply a thin layer of ointment to a clean and dry affected area 4-6 times a day. The course of treatment is up to 1 month. The amount of ointment applied depends on the extent of the lesion. When treating burns and wounds, apply a bandage with ointment.

Contraindications : None.

Side effects : Not noted.

Caution : The ointment is for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.

Release form : Cans of 50, 100 and 1000 g.

Storage : In a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature of 10 to 25°C.

Shelf life : 5 years from the date of manufacture.
