Description

Description : Oily transparent liquid, from light yellow to red-brown color with a specific odor.

Composition : 1 ml of the drug contains Vitamin E-50 mg, selenium - 0.5 mg.

Excipients : sunflower oil.

Pharmacological properties : Vitamin and microelement complex. Replenishes the deficiency of vitamin E and selenium in the body of animals. Tocopherol (vitamin E) regulates redox processes and affects carbohydrate-fat metabolism, enhances the effect of vitamins A and D. It also affects the state of immunity and the general resistance of the body. Selenium helps to increase the effectiveness of vitamin E use and improves redox processes in the animal's body.

Application : Prevention and treatment of diseases developing against the background of vitamin E and selenium deficiency with:
- disorders of reproduction and fetal development;
- white muscle disease and traumatic myositis;
- toxic liver dystrophy;
- growth retardation and insufficient weight gain;
- infectious and invasive diseases;
- after preventive vaccinations and deworming;
- poisoning with nitrates, salts of heavy metals and mycotoxins;
- stressful situations.

Dosage : The drug is used for all types of animals intramuscularly or subcutaneously (horses - only intramuscularly) for prophylactic purposes once every 2-4 months, for therapeutic purposes once every 7-10 days (2-3 times) at a dose of: -
adult farm animals - 1 ml per 50 kg of animal weight;
- for young farm animals - 0.2 ml per 10 kg of animal weight;
- dogs, cats, fur-bearing animals - 0.04 ml per 1 kg of animal weight.

Maximum dose per animal: for horses - 20 ml, for cattle - 15 ml, for sheep, pigs and goats - 5 ml.
For ease of administration of small volumes of the drug, it can be diluted with sterile water for injection or saline.
For poultry, the drug is used at a dose of 1 ml/kg body weight with drinking water at a dilution of 1:100. For preventive purposes, the drug is prescribed to chickens, starting from one day old, once every 2-3 weeks, to young birds and adult birds - once a month, for therapeutic purposes - 2-3 times with an interval of 1-2 weeks. The therapeutic dose can be increased by no more than 1.5 times.

Contraindications : Hypersensitivity to selenium, alkaline disease (excess selenium in the body and feed).

Cautions : In case of an overdose of the drug, toxic effects may occur (the antidote is unithiol, sodium thiosulfate, methionine). Meat and milk obtained from animals that have been treated with the drug can be used without restrictions.

Release form : Solution for injection in glass bottles, closed with rubber stoppers for aluminum rolling, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 ml.

Storage : The drug should be stored in a dark, dry place at a temperature of 5° to 15°C.

Shelf life - 1 year.
