Active ingredient of the drug — Albendazol (methyl [5 - (propylsulphanyl)-1n-benzimidazol-2-yl] carbamate, benzimidazole derivatives). Albendazole inhibits protein (tubular) synthesis, resulting in a disturbance of nutrients entrance, intracellular transport and exchange of adenosine triphosphate and glucose.
Description
Plano-cylinder tablets with a strip and a facet from white to gray color and specific odor.
Composition.
0,8 g of the drug (1 tablet) contains: active ingredient albendazole – 250 mg and excipients.
Pharmacological Characteristic
ATCvet QP52A, veterinary drug against trematodes (ATCvet QP52AS11, albendazole)
Active ingredient of the drug — Albendazol (methyl [5 – (propylsulphanyl)-1n-benzimidazol-2-yl] carbamate, benzimidazole derivatives). Albendazole inhibits protein (tubular) synthesis, resulting in a disturbance of nutrients entrance, intracellular transport and exchange of adenosine triphosphate and glucose. The mitochondrial reaction is reduced through inhibition fumaratereduktase, causing a decrease of glycogen and the death of the parasites from exhaustion.
