Dagger bait: a worm with a relatively short body and a thin tail, completely covered with annular ribs and having a pronounced "waist" in the middle.
There are many different silicone worms on the market. But most of them are long, slender, designed for catching very active predators with huge mouths (bass, sea bass and ruffs). Our perch prefer something more compact, with an appetizing, well-fed calf. This is exactly what the Daguerre Lure looks like: a worm with a relatively short body and a thin tail, completely covered with ring ribs and having a pronounced "waist" in the middle.
This Fanatic Dagger lure works great on any jig rigs: hinge, retractable lead, Texas, Carolina. The wiring pattern is not so important: the main thing is that it is not accelerated. The worm loves a pause, a leisurely movement along the bottom, a slight twitching of the rod tip, in which the weight remains in place. A perch that is nearby smells a familiar prey, tastes the worm - a slightly salted body seems so tender and appetizing, ring ribs easily crumple in the mouth, creating a complete illusion of a bleeding live prey that needs to be swallowed as soon as possible.
