CORONA-S

1. The device provides at the output an electrical signal in the form of a sequence of pulses with the following parameters:

- pulse repetition rate (100 ± 10) Hz;

- pulse filling frequency (110 ± 50) kHz;

- the amplitude value of the output voltage is discretely regulated from the minimum value (no more than 8 kV) to the maximum ( 25 kV ).

2. The device operates from an alternating current with a frequency of (50 ± 0.5) Hz and a voltage of (220 ± 22) V.

3. The time for establishing the operating mode from the moment of switching on does not exceed 30 s.

4. The root-mean-square value of the current consumed by the device from the network does not exceed 1.0 A.

5. The inclusion of the device in the network is accompanied by network indication.

6. The device provides continuous operation for no more than 8 hours, followed by a break of no more than 30 minutes in intermittent mode: operating time no more than 20 minutes, pause time no less than 10 minutes.

7. The mass of the apparatus is no more than 2.10 kg including electrodes.

8. Overall dimensions of the device no more:

- control unit housing 140x110x180 mm;

- transformer body 175x50x50 mm.

9. Mean time between failures not less than 2000 hours.

The device and operation of the apparatus Darsonval CORONA-S

The device structurally consists of three parts: a control unit and two transformer housings.

The control unit has two independent channels with a control board and a generator board.

The front panel of the control unit contains:

- green backlit switch to turn on the power;

- buttons for setting the "procedure duration (1.0 + 20 min)"; '

- buttons for setting "procedure intensity (from 8 to 25 kV)";

- indicators of "duration of the procedure";

- indicators of "procedure intensity"

- buttons for starting the procedure;

- buttons for shutting down the procedure.

In the end part of the transformer housing there is a holder for connecting electrodes. The transformers are connected to the cord control unit.

At the end of the procedure, a sound signal is automatically given and the voltage is removed from the electrode.

Preparation of the Darsonval CORONA-S apparatus for use

1 Remove the device from the consumer container. Select the electrode to be used for the procedure. Disinfect the apparatus with a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide GOST 177-88 with the addition of a 0.5% detergent solution

means of the "Lotus" type in accordance with GOST 25644 by wiping the housings and the electrode with a napkin soaked in solution.

The napkin should be wrung out.

Place the electrode in the holder without applying significant force to the electrode balloon relative to the base. Make sure the electrode is secured.

2. Connect the plug of the device to the mains socket. On the front panel, turn on the device with the switch and make sure that the supply voltage indicator is lit.

When the device is turned on with the "START" button, the following is set by default:

- the duration of the procedure is 10 minutes;

- the amplitude of the output voltage is 8 kV.

3. Make sure that the device is in good working order by the presence of a corona discharge when the electrode touches a massive metal object.

The device is ready for use.
